Placing an Order
We accept:
- Purchase Orders (from public educational agencies)
- *Credit Cards - VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
- PayPal
- Money Order
- School or Business Check
All orders must be prepaid, including shipping, or submitted with an official
school purchase order. We accept purchase orders from public educational
agencies only. All others (private schools, businesses, individuals) must be
prepaid.
*Credit card payments are processed through PayPal. You do not have
to have a PayPal account to use this payment option, and it is free.
Shipping
Most orders are sent by Priority Mail or UPS. Please include a street address;
if your order must be shipped by UPS, we cannot ship to a post office box.
Generally, UPS shipments are orders which contain multiple printed manuals.
Orders for CDs, DVDs, and videos only are shipped by Priority Mail.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery of your order. We make every
effort to ship your order as soon as possible, sometimes the next day after you
order. However, because some of our materials are marketed from other companies,
we ask that you allow 1-2 weeks for delivery of these items.

Shipping charges are based on the total amount of the order according to
the following scale:

Minimum charge for shipping is $6.00. There is no minimum order. Shipments
outside of the continental U.S. may incur an additional charge. If this is
necessary, we will contact you before your order is processed to obtain
approval.
Please Note: Due to the limitations of our shopping cart, your
shipping charge may not be accurate. The shopping cart does not adjust shipping for very large orders if there is a substantial difference
in actual shipping cost
If you order books or books and CD's, the shopping cart calculates shipping
at 10% of the total order amount. If we see this amount is excessive, we will
adjust it before invoicing (or refund it to your credit card).
International Orders
We regret than we do not ship internationally.
The Resource Center is a nonprofit organization; we operate on a
cost-recovery basis. In order to keep your price as low as possible, we are
unable to provide examination, preview, or complimentary copies. Please do not
ask. Samples of some materials are available
online.
Returns
Unused or over-ordered materials cannot be returned for credit. In the
event we have made a mistake in filling your order, please notify The Resource
Center immediately so that your order can be corrected.
Software and videos cannot be returned unless defective. Defective software or
videos may be exchanged for identical items only.
Bookstores: Please order only the number of items you need; over-ordered
materials cannot be returned.
Payment
Payment may be made by business/school check, money order, or credit card. Returned checks will incur a $25 insufficient check charge
in addition to the original amount of the check. Our payment terms for purchase
orders are Net 15
days from date of invoice. Make check or money order payable to The
Resource Center.
Duplicating Materials
Product purchase does not convey permission for duplication,
copying, or transfer. All materials described herein are copyrighted by their
producers. All rights are reserved and any unauthorized duplication is a
violation of U.S. copyright laws.
