Note: After installing the demo, if you have problems opening the
program, reboot your computer. This allows Windows to associate the demo files
with the program required to open them.
If you decide later to remove the demo, open Control Panel,
double-click on Add/Remove Programs, navigate to X-it Demo, and
click Remove. Then follow the instructions on the screen.
The X-it Demo contains a section from each of the five programs:
Language, Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies. These are abbreviated
from the complete program, which contains many more screens of explanation and
numerous review questions to predict the student's ability to pass the
graduation exam after working through the entire program.
So that you can see how the program is actually used by the student, the demo
will require you to log in and it will score questions that are answered, but
scores will not be tracked. The full program includes a separate module to compile and track student
scores.
Pre- and Post-Tests are not included in the demo.
